Community Day is held each year at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune.
This event, running from 11am to 2pm on Sunday, September 14, features a “Heart and Sole” 5K Run/Walk, a Kids Race, Games, Face Paintin, a Free Healthy Lunch from Branches Catering and more.
Unexcelled Fire Company attends the event every year. Engine 34-4-75 is displayed and fire prevention coloring books, hats and other free gifts are handed out.
“Unexcelled Fire Company has an outstanding relationship with our hospital”, said Unexcelled Captain Donald Colarusso. “And we take every opportunity to attend and participate in community events – it is so important”.
